Preparing For Your Appointment

  • Lash extensions are a semi permanent synthetic. Full mink, silk or cashmere fibers are applied as a single extension to each individual natural lash to give a fuller, thicker look.

    With proper maintenance, lashes can last up 2-6 weeks.

  • Please gently cleanse your lashes immediately prior to your fill appointment.

  • For best wear, we recommend a fill appointment every 2-3 weeks.

  • We hate to turn any clients down so we offer a specific service for those lashes lovers that already have existing lashes and who would love to become a Mi Vida Lash client.

    While we intend to work with your existing lashes, a fill may not be possible if we am not familiar with the existing work, unaware of retention, or there is growth or existing damage.

    For new clients looking for a fill on their existing lashes, book a Foreign Fill!

Lash Maintenance & Aftercare

  • For the best retention, it is highly recommended to wait 24 hours after your fill or full set appointment to get your lashes wet.

  • Please avoid the lash area. Apply around the eye area above the brow and under the eye, when applying any cosmetics, like lotions, primers, toners, oils, or serums.

  • You can wash your lashes 24 hours after your appointment. We recommend washing them daily to obtain the longevity of your retention and health of your natural lashes. Washing daily can help prevent any bacterial infections, styes or possible allergic reactions, and can also help prevent any damage to the natural lash. 

  • Do not pull, tug or rub on the lash line or eyelash extensions.

  • For best results, avoid sleeping on your face and use a silk pillow case.

  • It’s recommended to avoid heat such as ovens, fire pits or steam while cooking.

  • With proper care and maintenance, lash extensions can maintain fullness for up to 2-5 weeks, depending on the individual, lash growth and overal maintenance.

  • If aftercare is followed, no damage will likely be caused to the natural lash. Avoid weekly fills, as this can put stress on the natural lash, as it is not mature enough to maintain the extension causing damage. 

  • Allergic reactions are not common, but some individuals may experience irritation, which can subside within 48 hours. Around 20% of clients have an allergic reaction due to overexposure, just like any other allergic reaction can occur. A more common irritation is a form of contact irritation dermatitis. This is why I highly recommend following the client etiquette rules and keeping movement to a minimum .

Mi Vida Studio Policies

  • We value the time of each and every client, and understand that things come up from time to time.

    You may cancel an appointment up to 48 hours prior to the beginning of your appointment without incurring a charge. If cancelled or rescheduled within the 48-hour window before your appointment, you will be charged 50% of the total service fee. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours prior to scheduled appointment will be charged the full service fee.

    Appointments may be rescheduled up to 24 hours prior to your appointment time. Appointments rescheduled within the 24-hour window prior to your appointment will incur a $50 rescheduling fee.

  • Our time is valuable, just like yours. While life happens, we kindly ask that you notify us if you need to cancel your appointment. If you fail to cancel your appointment in advance, you will be charged 100% of the cost of services. Until services have been paid for no-show appointments, clients will be unable to book future services with Mi Vida Lash.

  • At Mi Vida Lash, all of our clients’ time is valued and we do my best to accommodate everyone. Please contact us if you are running late to your appointment, and we will do our best to accommodate your service appointment. However, if you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, your service will be cancelled and you will forfeit 50% of your total service cost.

    If you are continuously late to your appointments, I will unfortunately no longer be able to take you as a client.

  • Your appointment is a time for you to relax in our chairs and let us pamper you. In order to provide an enjoyable experience, we ask that you put your cell phone away during our time together.

    Please be respectful of our time together. Any interruptions may affect the quality of service due to time restrictions. Our goal is for your complete satisfaction of your services received. Being mindful of this policy is critical to achieving a complete service.

    All cell phones must be turned off along with smartphone devices like Apple Watches.

  • Our take a lot of pride in the work we provide for you. If you have any concerns with the services received, please notify us within 48 hours of service. We will fix it to your satisfaction at no extra charge. Due to the nature of services, we are unable to offer refunds, but do offer a credit towards other services offered if we cannot resolve your concerns.

    Please be mindful of all of these policies. We understand that things happen from time to time, and will do our best to be flexible and accommodate your needs. We kindly ask that as our clients, you familiarize yourself with these policies and are respectful of our time and talent.

  • To provide the best service to you during your appointment, we ask the following to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience. Please keep in mind that we are your lash technicians, not your receptionist. We kindly ask that you take care of personal matters before or after your appointment.
